PERCY PRESS, father of the late Percy Press and of Leslie Press, was Punch Professor at the seaside resort of Hastings, and at Madam Tussauds in London. His show was fast, topical and funny. He was certainly one of Britain's greatest Punchmen.

and hangs the Beadle, who too
trustingly showed Punch exactly how it was done.
"Soosumjums for tea - goody-goody-GOODY" says Punch.
So thinks the crocodile as well.
"Take that! TAKE THAT!"
